I was just going through my iPhone memory usage and saw that my Twitter app consists of 500 MB. I don't know how it got so big, anyway it says 37 MB app size and the rest is data and Documents. What are these? If I delete the app what will I lose?

If you're on Android, go into Settings, Apps, Twitter and click the clear cache button.

It will probably just be images that have been cached.

It's probably just not cleaning up after itself you could do basically the same thing on IOS by uninstalling and re installing I actually don't think there's another way.

Might just be something you have to do now and again I don't think you would lose really anything as long as you sign back in with the same account again.

There's only one solution for that:
Delete Twitter App from your iphone and then install it all over again from Apple Store.

When you do reinstall it you will not need to sign up again.
    Iphone stores your personal data.

But to clear its memory / free iphone memory you will need to delete the app and re-install it.
