I think this was the first real RPG that captured my attention and wouldn't let go. I got Bards Tale III on the Apple II computer for Christmas when I was kid and it was the best Christmas ever. I remember how mindblown I was about the animation graphics compared to Bards Tale II lol. One question for any who have it, how do they do the physical copy of the spinning guide that you had to align that was included in the original game which was required to get coordinates for travel? Also, does it have the manual with the list of spell names especially for where you had to type in the spells abbreviation to cast it? I can't view the videos so sorry if this was addressed in them. I have been playing Silversword on iOS for the last couple years and it is the closest thing to Bards Tale III and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in this type of game. actionrpg8000 Well-Known Member Sep 17, 2012 195 0 16 #6 actionrpg8000, Jun 27, 2013 I actually wish they would just sell the original trilogy, either separately or as a bundle, on the App Store. I have no desire to play the new version, and cannot justify the space it demands. nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #7 nightc1, Jun 27, 2013 I bought this during a past sale. $0.99 is a steal for all of this content... and yes, this is actually still installed on my iPhone. It's well worth the space for all 4 games. BTW, installed is 1.7GB. You need the install size + the download size but when it's done it only eats up 1.7GB. Food for thought.
