Well the reason they're talking about it in this thread is that it's a way to work around the "20 MB over 3G limit". Instead of adding Retina Display into the game with an update, which would push it over the 3G limit, a free in-app purchase would cover it without affecting the 3G limit.
Really nice update. I like the Retry button, though since it's a habit to tap the middle of the screen, I've almost caught myself tapping it on accident a couple times. The new blade has some spiffy effects, and the fire and smoke that come out kind of remind me of Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. I'm sure that wasn't intentional, but that's what it reminds me of. Nice new blade. The new Yin-Yang background is awesome. Certainly my new favorite Great update, Halfbrick.
Wait a second! Since the flame blade is made out of fire then won't the fruit burn when you slice it?
I really like the new update! The updated icon with the outline makes the icon definately stand out more. I also appreciate the undo button. However there seems to be a bug in mine where the sound effects of the swiping and the fruit splashes are gone when I close out of the app and the recontinue my game. But hopefully this update finally lands this game into the #1 spot!!
