Well, honestly the reason was that I hadn't spent an hour total on GDS and HSS combined, but yeah. This is the fastest sale so far. It hasn't even been a month since it came out, but thanks for the sale. Picked it up. I'm pretty sure it's because this one sold pretty terribly in comparison to the other two games. It fell off the charts in one week. Although it's only been 4 weeks or so, I'm surprised they even waited this long before putting it on sale. Heres to hoping Sensei Well-Known Member May 30, 2010 82 0 0 Teacher, writer Japan http://www.famicomdojo.tv #12 Sensei, Jul 24, 2011 Bought. This is the first of their games I didn't get at full price. I would have paid it, but I kind of forgot this was out. Excellent game. Now all I want is the Game Shop Owner one. dib Well-Known Member Apr 22, 2011 307 0 16 #13 dib, Jul 24, 2011 Bought it, but agreed it's not much for a successor to GDS. The entire premise of a video game _about producing video games_ is something that is very relatable to just about anybody, which likely accounts for much of its popularity despite its flaws. There was something instantly endearing about celebrating each release, watching it rise up the charts, until one day the years of work earns a best game award. At least personally, I've never been interested in running a day spa. Or a school. Or whatever the other ones were about. And they've improved considerably on expanding the sim format, but so far haven't met the simple joys of the first game. Still, a worthwhile game especially at $1. Perhaps one day they'll even come around to stepping it up for the platform by supporting retina, not to mention the processing and memory available for a more in-depth game. Serian Well-Known Member Nov 26, 2010 582 0 0 #14 Serian, Jul 24, 2011 Picked it up! I wasn't expecting it to drop so quickly. Perhaps this means Grand Prix Story is coming soon! Hot Springs Story doesn't really interest me, but running an academy sounds fun. backtothis im in ur base killin ur d00dz Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze Jul 13, 2009 13,250 1 0 college student (junior) Houston/Austin, TX https://twitter.com/back2this #15 backtothis, Jul 24, 2011 This.
