Im also having crashing issues in the later stages of the game. Unfortunately the update has not resolved this. There hasn't been any feedback from the developer so I hope there is a fix coming soon. Has anyone actually completed a game because I find once there a number of discovered planets, fleets + ships on screen then the game repeatedly crashes including while saving and I cannot proceed?
Nobody has put some strategy vids on YouTube yet? Or commentaries regarding gameplay styles, tech tree? Wow. I am surprised. All this praise but no online support from the fans. Sad. I need to get some equipment so I can post.
Right. Got to get back into this now crashing issue is fixed and resolution upgraded. I definitely need some help with strategies.
Really tempted to get this but the screen grabs scare me. Look very very complex and that's the only thing stopping me buying it right now. Shame there's no trial version, to see how it is :/
Deep and complex games scare you? Well admittedly this is a engaging and complex games of sorts but it is worth the time and honestly, if you have played a 4x game before then you will have most of the experience you need! Trust me, don't let the complexity shy you away from a good game!
Awesome! Great update for the best 4X game and one of the best overall strategy games for the iPad. Everyone needs to make sure and leave positive reviews on iTunes so we can get strong support for this game and others like it. Highly recommend!!
For the $1.99, I finally caved and bought the game. Just took a quick look, and it seems like it's gonna be a winner (UI issues notwithstanding). Is there some place where one can buy or download a manual for the game? I haven't found anything, and I also checked Digital Reality's site (http://www.digitalreality.eu) and didn't see anything there either. I sent an email using their support form. I'm betting against them saying a manual is available though. Any help would be appreciated. As I understand it, the original IG2 manual is supposed to be quite helpful. --DotComCTO
Loving it so far, but not sure why as Im not really sure what im doing. Manual of some sort would be great. Can anyone explain the autobuild thing? No matter what i set it to, it only seems to autobuild things like power plants if im out of energy? Also, the app seems to ignore rotating the ipad. I always have the ipad the same orientation due to the cover. IG2 is the opposite orientation to every other app I have. Doesnt seem like there should be any reason why it doesnt rotate 180 degrees?
