LambdaMu Games is proud to present our latest game: Infinight!

Infinight is a game of exploration, adventure and memory. Set in a world covered in darkness, you're challenged to find your way out from one level to the next. With no recollection of what happened to you, everyone else, or the light, you'll have to pull your wits together to survive through the night. Danger lurks around every corner, so use whatever flashes of light you can gather to illuminate the landscape and warn you of what lies ahead - before you plunge back in to the endless dark.

    Features:
    - Intuitive and Innovative Light-Based Gameplay!
    - Retina Display!
    - 50 Levels (5 different zones)!
    - Collect 122 Tapes to reveal the story!
    - Nail Biting Multiplayer Mode!
    - Freeplay mode!
    - Game Center Support with our 34 Achievements to Unlock!

well its only like notrium in the sense that its top down. otherwise it's a lot more like chip's challenge where you have to clear each level by navigating the landscape and finding the exit.

The challenge is that the amount of light available at your disposal is limited, and there are many dangers along your path that are invisible in the dark. So it's going to be a combination of memory, timing, planning, and skill (or something like that) if you want to successfully make it through each level and piece together the story.

Those screenshots look great. And I'm not even a big fan of the top-down view. :)

  11. The placement of the d-pad is... different. Just wondering - why is it on the right side?

Mostly because I (the guy who made the video) am a lefty. Don't worry though, you can swap Dpad location anytime in game!

  13. Oh, ok. That's good to know. :)

I made a game like this once years ago in GameMaker ... long before I got into real programming tools :D and have been itching to make one like it ever since. My company did something similar recently but this is closer to the vision of what I want to do. I can't guarantee I won't someday make a game that competes with this, because I love both making and playing games where light is an element of the game, but I can guarantee on launch day I'll be downloading this.

Thanks for the comment BrokenKings! The game should hit the AppStore something next week. Do let us know if your comments on it!

Oh, and I forgot to mention, Infinight will be compatible with all iOS devices that are running 3.0 and above!

Unfortunately, Multiplayer and Global Leaderboards will only be available if your device has Game Center. :(

    Multiplayer Demo

    Hi All,

As requested and thereafter promised, here is a much awaited preview of the uber exciting Multi Player more for Infinight. It requires 2 players who can connect or be matched up over Game Center. You either play the role of the Fugitive(Runner) or Sentry(Chaser) and have to satisfy your objectives on the same map before the opponent completes theirs.

Each map offers not just different layout and terrain, but a different mechanic for handling the availability of light for the players, which makes for interesting and fresh gameplay over and over again!
