I honestly couldn't find a thread with a poll asking this. Feel free to post why you chose your armor. I chose Sentry armor because it has no downside, and I liked the cloaking and targeting upgrades.
It is clear that there is no clear choice. I guess it is less about what you use, and more about how you use it.
Ok, so theoretically if you had it all the way upgraded you would be invisible all the time? Or is that how it works? Also, just to clarify, TS helps even if you don't use auto-shoot?
Standard for now. Sentry does have a slight weakness in defense, even though it's not listed. When you upgrade, it says that defense is basic, not standard.
it's probably just a placebo effect but after upgrading targeting the gun seems more stable with auto fire off? dunno

I did. It's not that bad, and since I'm low levelled and don't want a reduced speed or defense, I think it's good. Extra TS is very useful and added aquatics makes flood and tank decent maps for me. I think airbourne is a lot worse myself.
Can anyone clarify that if an armor says +DEF for instance, does that just mean it starts one defense upgrade higher than the standard armor?
The targeting increases damage across all weapons,, according to mjmoco. So this makes it a worthwhile upgrade.
I'm using the infiltrator armor and I'm lovin it! I have speed upgraded with the plasma cannon. I pick up the damage upgrade, run up to someone really fast, blast them in the head once, and they're gone. I pick up the bonus credits, then run away to find another victim!
