Hi there! We'll soon by launching a sort of complementary app to Platforms Unlimited, Platforms Limited:100. The game will be based on the same mechanics except that while Platforms Unlimited is mostly about having an endless mode with missions and power-up unlocks, this will feature a campaign of 100 hand-picked levels. As a bonus content, the game will also have a Flappy endless mode merging the flappy flight mechanic with our procedural enemies generation for added diversity. Since we'd like things to run smoothly at launch, we already invited everyone who tested Platforms Unlimited. This video is outdated since the game features the same new main character that we made for Platforms Unlimited (the update will ge available at the same time as the launch for Limited) but it still demonstrates the gameplay.
Level 9..collected all greens and still silver trophy..no gold... Sometimes player is able to get a last jump in before crossing the finish line and is able to grab another green on other side of finish..no points are given but something neat should happen just for fun
Level 57, 72, 84..same silver trophy bug..some more difficult levels to get gold for me so far are 36,40,46. Totally stink at flappy mode.
Flappy Mode xD You can currently jump over the top of the columns, and would it be better if they were purely made of enemies?
You can? That's the sort of thing we've been trying to avoid but the result could be device-dependant. We could also make the up outside screen a killzone altogether (like for the bottom).
At least on the iPad Air, you can hop onto to the of the columns (though you can't jump whilst off screen.
The new build is now available. I think we fixed the bugs causing tiny variation in levels depending on devices. Coins could be pushed 'out' or 'in' relatively to the finish line. We also fixed the 'fly over pillars' bug on iPad for the Flappy mode, though this could not be used to cheat since it's necessary to eat coins to increase score.
Just dropping by to say I've installed the beta, hopefully I'll get to play this evening. Looking forward to seeing what you guys have done with the flappy mechanic.
Was able to go back and get gold on some levels I couldn't last build..right now I'm stuck at 92..for gold..will give another run later today. Had only the one "go thru the block issue" so far.
The 'fly-through-ceiling' bug should have been resolved with the new build. I also corrected how meteors are generated to make sure that they appear in the same way (as much as possible) across all devices. This should affect level 81-85 and 96-100
Wow that nasty level 98 took me like 200 tries to complete on iPad http://www.kamcord.com/v/2QaxveX6hMA/ Wasn't sure I would be able to leave this level in the game, but now it looks that some of you will have to share that joy of pain .
Things are rather calm here, since Platforms Limited:100 is a special edition and did not require intensive testing or announcements. But at least I can tell that the launch date is now confirmed for May 14. Other events will happen on that day, related to Platforms Unlimited so stay tuned . Platforms Limited started to roll in various App Stores. It should be available everywhere in 10 hours .
