As said midway in the video, it's important to remember that this build does not show final art assets. Power-ups will certainly bring a breath of fresh air to this young franchise.
It's coming out quite soon! December 4th to be exact. Here's the website And the teaser! Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel To answer the question of content... this was something we wanted to get right on launch (as opposed to how it turned out for the launch of the original Bean's Quest!) For BQ we delivered in total about 50 stages over the course of 5 worlds with 4 updates including the original release of the game. It took several months to build all of that up. The original launch only had 8 stages. For Bean Dreams, we're launching with 48 stages and we are going to be doing updates from there. The first of which will be landing early next year and should be several additional worlds worth of content. I hope our commitments to our previous games (BQ, Time Surfer and Duet) have demonstrated that we're pretty committed to updating our games with new stuff and keeping them up to date for the latest devices / screen sizes. Happy to answer any more questions!
