Looks incredible, has me more pumped up about this game. Seems like it might even be better than NFS U.
looks awesome, i hope the frame rate is consistent on my iphone 3g though. still going to be a day 1 buy for me. i loved the last game on the iphone, and this surpasses it in every way by the looks of things.
Wow! Varied environments (day and night), great looking cars, a Burnout feel to the fast pack racing and crashes. HUD looks uncluttered though I wish they had implemented NFS' swipe to boost. Wishing this game has full online and Road Rage vs other race cars. With NFS going simmy this could rule the arcade racing genre well into next year.
Looks very polished! Hope this comes with multiplayer! Gameloft should release this an Nova soon as their games post-dungeon hunter are quite dissapointing!

graphically asphalt 5 looks the best imo, real racing looks fantastic and has great lighting, and is my favourite racing game and still will be when asphalt 5 comes out, i just prefer that type of racer. but there's no denying how good and fun asphalt looks.

Yeah, imagine playing an 8-way Elimination event online where you're trying to destroy everyone else's car and stay alive.
I keep wanting to get NFS:Shift, but this game is getting SO tempting. I was planning to boycott Gameloft, but with motorcycles, online multiplayer, and more control of the vehicles, I think it's great.
Need for Speed Shift has me wary, cause to date no one is sure if it plays arcadey like Undercover iPhone, or if it's sim based like Real Racing or Shift on the PS3. Canlt stand driving cars that suddenly handle like boats. Asphalt 5 is really feature packed. Even has a little change up in weather.
I've been wondering also. I think it would be cool to have a big title like NFS Shift on my iPod Touch. And I also like sims over the whole arcade thing. To be honest, I hope that Rockstar makes a Midnight Club game for the iPhone. Now that would be the best. So, I'm thinking either A5 or NFS Shift. If Shift turns out to be like NFSU, then I'll just get A5. I just hope the multiplayer for A5 isn't as laggy as Real Soccer 2010. Does anyone know if NFS:S will have multiplayer?
