Wild blood is pretty fun so far but I can't stand the camera. Just tried it for 10 minutes now and I'm dizzy as heck... Too bad there's no option to fix camera like in Dungeon Hunter 3. Might have to delete the game soon. That said, I could never play any FPS cause I get major motion sickness... :p

I think the new update lets you adjust the camera, so that shouldn't be a problem anymore.

Yeah..it's better in certain instances.. But especially when I walk towards the camera it starts swinging around again.. Welps..I'll play around with the camera tomorrow night.. I'm *still* too dizzy to start the game again... I know, I know...I'm a weak sauce!

Now that I bought Wild Blood and NFS Most Wanted, I'm having trouble deciding between The Dark Knight Rises and NOVA 3(only got 0.99). I hear the TDKR is fun but it's super repetitive and NOVA3 is supposedly the best game in the series.

    Any suggestions?

Nova 3 for sure; despite being of different genres, it's a better game overall.

Why not both? I have yet to play NOVA 3, but I'm sure it's good, and I have played TDKR and it's also good. Some missions can get repetitive, but it is fun.

Yeah, both are good, but considering he only has 99 cents to spend it's probably best to purchase the better of the two.

Wasn't there an option to fix the camera completely behind your character?

Of the two, I'd go with NOVA 3. The spectacular online experience alone is worth the buck.

  11. Even, a buck is important! Haha ;)

I think you already answered yourself. Based on what you wrote:

TDKR - fun BUT it's super repetitive
NOVA3 - best game in the series

Last year, according to the app activity for 9MM in AppShopper, the sale for Gameloft lasted from Dec 20th 2011 through Jan 2nd 2012. So you've, most likely got plenty of time to make a decision.

If all you have is enough for 1 game at $0.99... I say hold on to your money and see what else goes on sale.

TDKR isn't worth it. Looks amazing, but combat is absolutely a snooze fest and a one-button masher. Sooo boring that you'll purposely avoid getting into fights just because it's repetitive to the extreme. Which is a pity because the rest of the game is mostly ok. The AI could be worlds better. No complaints about graphics though.

Yup, I find myself avoiding goons since fighting is just button mashing. But like you said, the rest is not bad.

It's the same basic formula as the combat in Arkham Asylum or City for consoles. Attack, attack, counter, attack, and so on. It's just simplified for mobile gaming, which you would expect.

Comparing this lazy combat system to Arkham's on consoles is heresy. There is no comparison.
