I'm looking for games that show off the iphone 4 retna display. I know Archetype and real racing has solid graphics. What else is there?
need for speed, gta: ctw (and NO, none of the gameloft's games have solid graphics) call of duty zombies graphics > brothers in arms 2 graphics
Archetype has the best retina display specific graphics so far. Edit: since you know about archetype already I would say flight control is pretty nice too followed by enigmo 2.
Gta:ctw and need for speed have not yet been updated for retina ... Best to ignore this persons comments.. Clearly helps nobody
I played NOVA on my iP4 the other day, doesn't look too great to be honest. The icon is really fuzzy as well.
Carcassone, Enigmo, Archetype look gorgeous. Strategery looks pretty good to though i dont think it's updated for retina display i wish everyone would at least update their icon for retina display.
That's because it hasn't Been updated to retina resolution yet.. The update to brothers in arms 2 looks great on retina ... So fingers crossed GL will get to work on a NOVA update soon
I have something against Gameloft. They rarely update their games. I do own a few gameloft games but I hesitate to buy them. I didn't even buy their games when they had the .99 cent 4th of July specials. Archetype seems to be the flagship iPhone 4 game right not and it is impressive. It's a hard core first person shooter period. I hope they make a 5 player co-op campaign based on the opening cinematic. The online multiplayer is just training for the single player campaign against the invaders. Real Racing is great looking too but It's gets boring fast. It's just me though, I was never really into Grand Turismo games but I'm a graphics whore so I bought it. I really can't wait for the Apple Gamecenter. I hope it's like Xbox Live but free. Please let me know of any other iPhone 4 games that show off the retina display, I love 1st and 3rd person shooters.
Umm, I personally think that Jet Car Stunts looks a hell of a lot better. No more jagged edges on the shapes and roads.
