Gah. Still on the fence for this one. I'm so cheap. I want it, but $4.99 would be the most I've ever spent on an app. Anyone wanna talk me into buying this?
Hmmmmm I can understand making weapons and rings and such that are cool looking for lower level players and have lowered stats, but not end game weapons that a lv 5 can use lol.... that makes no sense to me. Also it would rock if the items and weapons were color coded like blue for superior and such, I always love that in games because it gives a sense you are using something awesome.
I bought the game on sale for $4.99 or $5.99, forget which, and I feel it was well worth it. I've played for a good 10-20 hours and I feel like I have a LOT left to the game. (I have been trying to complete every side quest that comes along.) The game has some bugs, and is not perfect, but it feels like a shrunken down console game instead of a portable game. It's good to spend the $4.99 to support a game like this, to show the game companies that they can produce high quality games and make decent money off them.
For anyone still wondering about the stability of the game I just want to say I completed the whole game (main quest with a good number of side quests) in about 30 hours and experienced zero crashes. The first game in a while on an iphone/ipad that I became somewhat obsessed with- in a good way. Played on an ipad 2. Not sure about replayability but for the $5 dollars I paid for it I feel it was a steal. And if you are confused about quests or just want some general hints I highly recommend the following web site; http://ravensgift.com/aralon-sas.html
This updating deal is becoming a weekly thing, huh? At least iPad users should be happy now, a completely redone GUI.
Am I missing something? Playing it on an iPad2 with the latest version installed and I do not see a completely new GUI.
So do I understand the cloud save correctly? Can I delete the game off my iPad to free up some space for now and the reinstall the game at a later date and then upload my old save (which I uploaded previusly to their cloud server) onto my iPad and start playing where I was. That would be very cool and something I would like to see more often if that is the case.
Hey, I'm about to start a new playthrough after being bored to death by the Warrior class. Which class provides the most fun combat/ most variation in gameplay? I'm looking for one that's got invisibility, ranged and melee attacks, cool stuff like that.
I just started playing this. It's a really great game I just hate the controls. I am constantly accidently missing the virtual joystick and moving the camera around. Couldn't they just do a normal 3rd person view where the camera doesn't move, especially up and down.
Ranger is your best bet for all-around diversity. You won't get invisibility though(choose assassin class for that), but you'll get ranged, melee, magic, and summoning. Go to options and change camera to fixed.
I did but the camera still moves up and down it is just fixed with the virtual joystick. I find the camera in Order and Chaos to be a lot better. The camera in Aralon just doesn't feel quite right
I'd like to start off by saying that I absolutely LOVE Aralon, and have logged more hours playing it than my wife would agree with!! :-D With that said, I've encountered a handful of bugs that could use a squash, and a thought of a few recommendations that would make your game even better. Bugs: - The music in the zone by the North Gate of Callaheim has some major sound issues. It cuts out, pops and sounds overly distorted at times. - Helmet clipping in first person view. I'm not 100% sure if this happens with all helmets, but it is definitely apparent with my crafted plumed helm. Requests: - An easy way to switch between first and third person perspective without having to exit to the main menu. Ravensword had a great way of doing this, but it would still be nice even as an in game menu option. - The ability to place a stack of potions into a chest. Currently this task has to be done one at a time, and can become QUITE tedious when storing the large stash of poisons that you can can get from the Thieves' Den. - The option to recharge a magical item after it has been used up. This could possibly be added as a service the magic guild could provide for a fee. - The ability to take screen shots without the GUI interface blocking anything. It's a beautiful world, and I like taking screen shots for keepsake like you can do in Morrowind, Oblivion and even your own Ravensword game (by reducing the HUD transparency). Well, that's everything that I can think of right now! Thanks in advance for fixing and/or implementing any of these changes.
Due to lack of fun games these past 3 weeks, I decided to pull the trigger on aralon, all I have to say is wow. Best rpg on iphone so far. Needs sensitivity toggle
