Edit: Seems to have been out on google a bit longer, found this page: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vikings.fury&hl=en. Shows some reviews which certainly seems promising, and I like the fact that each review has been answered by the developers. Edit2: So I've played a little of this game now but it's not for me. I was hoping for quite a bit more depth in the building aspect and it seems pretty shallow. The tutorial could use a complete overhaul as well as it doesn't do much to explain things. Dragan Well-Known Member Aug 21, 2014 365 7 18 Belgium #4 Dragan, Jan 21, 2016 Interesting game but the load times between the different screens, although static in nature, are a real drag. Hopefully this will be resolved through updates. Nthnadm New Member Jan 22, 2016 3 0 0 #5 Nthnadm, Jan 22, 2016 I'm honestly not seeing much of a difference from this or say King of Dragon Pass. Aside of KoDP being far deeper and more highly polished. And what of Sword and Glory? Quite a bit of exploration and building you can do in that as well. Any thoughts? Dragan Well-Known Member Aug 21, 2014 365 7 18 Belgium #6 Dragan, Jan 22, 2016 I'm having some issues with the game. The email was'nt answered and the dev doesn't give a sign of life in this forum. You can't compare this game with King of Dragon Pass which is a classic and much, much deeper. Nthnadm New Member Jan 22, 2016 3 0 0 #7 Nthnadm, Jan 22, 2016 Good point Dragan. Ya it is a classic. One of, if not THE best, in its genre. It's just hard not to draw basic comparisons. Plus sword and glory for me really embodies the Viking spirit. If you haven't played it you should. I would like to address what people are pointing out here on the forum because I want to make this game better. By the way this is my first game it took me 7 months to put together working 10-12 hours a day, I was very lucky to get a few collaborations from some vikings that provided me with photography and Adrian von Ziegler to let me use his music for the game. My idea for the game was to try to keep things simple, with more realistic graphics instead of a cartoony style. I got inspired by the simplicity of a game called Dig It where you manage cats to gather, sell resources, hire more cats and keep digging. The other thing that inspired me was the series Vikings , so I wanted to create something that combined those two things. Avatre - I was hoping for quite a bit more depth in the building aspect and it seems pretty shallow. The tutorial could use a complete overhaul as well as it doesn't do much to explain things. What part of the tutorial didn't you understand? Regarding the house upgrades, I thought players would be satisfied with the progression of finding new lands and hiring more warriors while getting wealthier, but looks like its not enough, I now see the need of having more upgrades for weapons especially. Dragan - Interesting game but the load times between the different screens, although static in nature, are a real drag. Hopefully this will be resolved through updates. What device are you playing on? On Samsung S6 only takes 2 secs to change scenes. What issue are you having? I have to say I haven't played the games mentioned here, I will check them out, I don't find the necessarily appealing in terms of graphics, but on the other hand seems like they have a really cool game play. I am planning to expand the game with a map to explore so the players have more opportunities to engage in battles. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts.
