Oh nice. Sounds kinda like a linear league of legends-ish. By that I mean sounds awesome. Also, the video is sweet. If you implement a solid upgrade sytem/shop (utilizing in-game currency not IAP) along with some multiplayer, then this will be amazing.
Actually, Rise of Heroes is launching for free at the beginning. There will be in-game currency (gold) but like Army of Darkness, you will be able to buy extra gold if you want. However, it is COMPLETELY OPTIONAL. You can play the entire game and not spend a dime on the game.
Rise of Heroes was submitted over last weekend so we expect it to be approved soon! Will let you know as soon as we hear anything.
As we await approval, we want to know what kind of units you'd like to see in the game in a possible update. Dragons, perhaps?
OMG I thought this game was DEAD! (haven't heard of this game for ages...) Can't wait to (finally) play this game (remember the Altair's paint brush joke? ) Are there any cavalry units? Big hulking shielded defenders? How bout adding a female version of the assassin that deals very high damage to flanked foot soldiers, but is weak in close combat? Or add some highly spam-able fast moving yet very fragile attack hounds to kill mages/casters?
dragons are cool though i personally would enjoy more different types of knights: cavalry, crusaders (stronger knights), shield men (damage eaters for front lines), and pike men?
Hey there! This is EndGamer, the developer behind Rise of Heroes! Glad to see you were anxiously awaiting it. We took a much too long hiatus to work on some contract work, but we are now back to doing our own thing. We spent the last 3 months finishing up Rise of Heroes. Its the first in a series of upcoming games from EndGamer, so please keep an ear out for us.
There aren't any cavalry units in Rise of Heroes, but there are some hulking defenders, known as Champions. They are the heavily armored units with the heavy axes. Love the hound styled units! Rise of Heroes is medieval based with some light magic, but we want to make updates (or new games) based on other themes and styles. The Lord of the Rings type fantasy games are always exciting, but somewhat overdone... Outside of the fantasy/medieval universe, what else would you guys think would be fun? Revolutionary War? Romans? Gun Babes vs. Aliens?
