For long trips the most important thing is making the battery last for as long as possible, playing games that don't burn the battery and adjusting your setting to the most battery efficient way. I know there are other threads similar to this one, but I want to make this one to have everything from tips to apps to games. I will be updating the first thread with the suggestions from everyone. I've found the Real Racing, Zen Bound, and F.A.S.T don't touch the battery at all. What about Cube Runner, Labyrinth, Adrenaline, JOTB, Binary Game,Tunnel, Scoops, Flight Control, Harbor Master, Eliss (?), and Words Worth, most of those are easy both graphics and gameplay wise.
Real racing ain't that good. I remember it going through my battery fast enough. Not huge usage but normal enough

I'm double posting, and bumping this thread up, because I have a question. -Will more movies on my ipod lower my battery even while I'm not watching them? -Also, will more free space on my ipod give me higher battery efficiency?
Yes and definitely yes for the second one. My iPhone drains almost 1/3 of the battery in just half an hour to 40 minutes of playing Zenonia. I have around 1.8gb left on my 8gb iPhone 3G.
I think I'm going to delete Zenonia() for the trip and then re-install whenver I can. Appsniper will probably also drain battery b/c of the icon cache. Thanks Aurora
we have a list of the best battery usage, but shouldn't we try to make a list of the absolute worst games to play on long trips? touch grind kills my battery in 30 minutes. Y'know, so people know not to get certain games to play on long trips.
