With its huge 10x15 tile grid, SpellTower has room for some serious word strategy.
Find and swipe words in 4 challenging modes. Finding words clears them from the screen, dropping any tiles above.

Make long words or use bonus tiles to clear extra letters from the screen!

As you work, more tiles rise from the bottom of the screen, and it'll take all of your lexicological wits and tactical know-how to keep them down. If any of the letters make it to the top row, it's game over.

Tower Mode
No pressure here. Try and get the highest score possible out of 150 letters, eliminating small words to set up 7- and 8-letter blockbusters!

Puzzle Mode
Every word you make adds a new row of letters! Strategic word finding at its best.

Extreme Puzzle Mode
Like Puzzle mode, but with the minimum word length cranked up. Experts only!

Rush Mode

I lost interest in Halcyon rather fast, never really got into Bit Pilot, but Unify has been enough for me to continue feeling like I'll buy whatever this dev releases sight unseen. At least thus far.

This a great time to be releasing word games, and this one is very, very good. Clean, crisp graphics and interface, good variety of game modes, and core gameplay that simply works. Put simply: if you enjoy word games you want to add this one to your collection.

It looks like I'm having a problem with high scores on my device and also GameCenter. I just set a new personal best for longest word and score in tower mode, but the scores did not save within the game, nor did they transfer to GameCenter.

This time I remembered to grab a screenshot of the game, which I've uploaded.

I spelled "equivalencies" for 1352 points, cleared the board in Tower Mode for a 2731 score. Neither was saved in my game or put on GameCenter (clarsonx is my username there too). The same thing apparently happened on my Sunday plane ride when my scores were not saved.

Hopefully you can figure out what going on.

Spelltower 1.1 update hit today.
Huge dictionary improvement as well as some bug fixes regarding scores not submitting to game center.

Next update is for Universal support

@clarsonx thanks for the bug report. just sorted it out. it turned out that it was saving the score before it applied the 500 point bonus. Man I'm so embarrassed
thanks so much for pointing that out! so sorry about that messing up your scores the fix will be included in the 2.0 (Universal) update

stfj - To be completely honest, I originally had no intention of getting this game, it didn't seem like something I'd get into. But after seeing so many good comments on here and specially after seeing you being so active in the thread showing that you truly care for your game, I went ahead and purchased it.

I'm really glad I bought it. Am I good at it? Not really. Is it fun? Yes yes and yes, so much so that I am seriously thinking about gifting it to a couple friends.

Thank you so much for your hard work. I look forward to the achievements, other improvements and your future products.
