Low bandwidth Version | Pop Up We just pressed the "release" button so Ice Rage should be available right about now ![]() (I did a new thread because I want to be able to update the first post with new info as we work on the updates. If somebody can merge the two threads that would be great!) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I added a gameplay video to the post. Last edited by TimoVihola; 12-14-2011 at 01:47 PM.. Haven't had a chance to try the game yet, but I just wanted to say how awesome the app icon is. Very cool!

Thanks for the early release. Downloading now. One thing though, no gamecentre? Is it planned for the future?
Impressions in a little while. |

Quick question: are all characters included in the game with your original purchase? Just curious because I see a '0.99' thing on two sides of the last screenie. Either way the game looks awesome, and I plan on picking it up.

To answer your question, the two first teams are included with the original purchase. The only character which costs money is the Santa (and his side kick, Rudolph the Red Wall) cost an additional buck in case you wish to support us developers. |

Right well first impressions are, imagine pong with a little bit of speedball 2. It's just 2 v 2 you've got your virtual stick (like minigore) and one button. You can press the button to tackle the opponent and knock th over to steal the puck and when you've got the puck you press or hold the button to shoot, using the stick to aim and holding the button longer for a stronger shot.
There's 2 characters to choose from for each team and them Santa is IAP for 69p. The match works on a timer so it's who ever has the most points when the time runs out wins. That's it simple an fun. I'm a but of a sucker for pong'ish games and for the price (69p) it's a very nice polished game. It really looks like a pick up n play here an there type of game, but who knows with some achievement and leaderboards and possibly gamecentre multi player this could be brilliant. Well hopefully this gives an idea of what its like. |
