Looking at the video, I really like the world. If the game sells well, or if you're inspired, could we see an actual platformer spin-off?

The world all comes down to Jeremy, our artist who spent most (if not all) of his time tweaking to get everything just right.

We are so happy with the end results and will seriously be looking at expanding Blot to other game genres for sure.

We have a few more games under our belt to get out first though so we will keep everyone at TouchArcade posted.

I love the art style of the backgrounds. It is very attractive without interfering with the visibility of the foreground elements. The game play seems to be like an endless runner. I am awaiting impressions.

Thanks for the compliment, as i said previously we really did our best to make it look as good as possible.

Blot is an endless runner with an emphasis on obstacle dodging and tunneling.

The game is certainly... majestic. The artwork is awesome and the level designs are great! I almost always see something new every time I play. Btw, the Space Invader thing is cool!

I'm saving up for that Trollface!

Can I please get a quick run down on the power ups please?

I see when I grab the small blots, I grow and then eventually lead to a bonus screen of sorts; is that how that works essentially? Is the black box lower left just supposed to be the touch area?

Also, the paint buckets and the paint streaks please?

I agree that i go off of a few particular users' opinions when considering purchases. Gotta love forums!!

You collect the small blots and you become invincible and go faster. It's all done on the same screen. You collect the small blots to get the invincible mode, to go further faster and without obstacles, thus increasing your score/distance. It is not a bonus round but a means of progression.

Black box is for power ups that you can buy from the store.

Orange = slow down
Green = speed up
Blue = magnet for coins
Purple = it throws you backwards

Buckets last a couple of short seconds and have the ^ color effects

Streaks last for however long you're in them and have the ^ color effects
