Tentatively curious about this one. Anyone have some solid info and/or know what the installed file size is?

** Special launch price during the first month after release 4.99 USD **

Hello dear toucharcade users

After Arcana Agency, Fabled Lands I and Fabled Lands II, Megara Entertainment has released today its new game, "The Keep of the Lich-Lord HD"

This is a complete overhaul and conversion of the original Fighting Fantasy gamebook which took Megara Entertainment 7 months of work using a variant of our Fabled Lands engine ; we also made 100 new 2D artworks, dozens of sound effects and (that's new to our engine), some animations. The game is around 300 MB.

Does that mean that the app doesn't autosave on exit?

As usual, as long as you don't kill your app on the desktop, you can resume play.
Also there are those saving points - you can save for free whenever you find a place to rest and camp! It's called roleplay

322MB installed according to usage.

Haven't played much, just booted it up. Really not a fan of the semicursive font used for the introduction (same as the title)--I find it hard to read at a glance and, frankly, more than a little hokey looking.

Luckily, once in the actual game it goes to more standard printing. I'm hoping it stays that way through the book.

Hoping for great things; the Fighting Fantasy books were big favorites of mine back in the day.

I was slightly taken aback by the cursive font too, but then it distinguished itself from the gameplay and set a certain mood, like you are reading from an 'old' book or something, which I kind of like.

I was afraid file size would be massive just like Fabled Lands, but 300+mb is totally acceptable.

Still early in, so far the one addition I'd like to see in the future is the iCloud feature. More on the game later.

Add: I realised there's no bgm? Sure there's sound effect and music when there's action but a little dry when I'm just reading the text.

For day 2 after launch, our new app Keep of the Lich-Lord iPad is having the best ranking we ever had for all our apps (including Fabled Lands), on the 2 main markets, and even tackling the Final Fantasy apps now. It's thanks to YOU, so thank you again !!
