Great game and maybe the closest one to the Classic "Kick Off" in the AppStore.

It's pure fun to play, just like in the old Amiga days.

I love the Team Editor. A cool feature would be if we could make custom Leagues and tournaments with the teams we have created.

The speed could maybe be a little faster. The Players moves a little slow, but I got used to it.

Is it me or is the Gamecenter empty when you display the game in Gamecenter? There's no achievements.

The textures could be retinized? They look a little blurry on a 4S.

Those are just minor things that would make the game almost perfect

Thanks for your comments. I plan on putting a speed option in an update, so people who like "kick off 2 crazy fast" can play it that way (although I'll warn you it's very hard to play that fast with a touch screen controller, which is why we slowed the pace down for S.S.C.)

The achievements are not hooked into gamecenter at present, they're just stored locally, more will be added and I will integrate into gamecenter in the future.
iPad native support is next on the list and if I can further improve the art for higher res displays it will be done as part of that.

Okay. Thanks for the quick reply. I have a question. If I delete the App and re-install it, would I then have to purchase the coins again to unlock the Editor and Online Mode?

No, deleting the app and reinstalling should be fine. Coins and unlock status should be saved securely in the devices keychain.

One tip for your playing.. running at a loose ball, better to hold Blue to trap / control it. (releasing blue with no directional input after a trap, will not pass it, so you can dribble off in a new direction)

And also.. sometimes it's better to pass with a low power Red kick, especially if you want a through ball.

Really hoping TouchArcade Editorial can put it on the main page..

Apple have ruined our launch by listing the game as May 7th, so it's harder to find than it should be this weekend. (should be at the top of the new releases, not 10 pages down!) And recovering from that is probably going to be very difficult unless we get featured somewhere.

First of all, good job with the game devs!

I played all versions of SWOSs, really spent a lot of time as a kid with it and I can even say it made me love football.

I can see connections with it which is VERY good, there was a footie game in the AppStore similiar to SWOS too but failed to make an impact. I hope this will not be the case with SSC.

My suggestions are:
- the game is a little to slow. Making it a (little) bit faster would improve the whole experience
- I played a game when both teams had almost the same kit, it was hard to notice your teammates
- is it possible to pre-load a shot?

What I love in SWOS the most was the career mode - I know it's a lot of work and probably won't be possible - just saying it was my favourite mode in SWOS
