Really enjoyed this on my iPad, but felt that the iPhone screen was a little small for navigating the map/controlling the camera. Also, the missions are set up with a lot of text that you might wind up just skipping because it's a little inconvenient to read on a smaller screen.
If you don't mind all that or if you haven't played the iPad version, this game is really great. There are a fairly small number of tower- and enemy unit-types, but somehow that simplicity and the relatively easy upgrade system combined with the fully-controllable 3D strategic view make this game really addictive. Even the story (if you read all the mission briefings) was some pretty interesting sci-fi. The iPhone version has some really good new menu animations, too. |
