I really hope this is well executed. I want a good fishing game on the iPhone. flick fishing just never did it for me.

You know-I love fishing games and am a real fisherman. I just don't understand why some of these games are such a let-down. So many times, and this game is a good example, you fish, have a strong fight, then finally land a small fish that could go in your home aquarium! I mean, who wants to catch fish that are 14cm long? And so often here, it fights really hard and actually breaks your line! Very unrealistic! Wow! 10cm!! Woohoo! Catch a little Goby! Then, while you're fishing in a lake, you catch a saltwater fish! WTF? Some of these devs don't have the foggiest idea of the types of fish are in a given place. Who wants to catch a little 3 inch clownfish? Also not realistic is the way the reel spins backwards uncontrollably when the fish is running. That's what drag systems are for on a reel. These people don't have a clue, and usually they're from China or somewhere in Asia. There are some excellent fishing games to be had here in the store, but not many. I've tried most all of them at one time or another.This is not one of them. If you want a good fishing game, I can steer you the right way. I can recommend the best ones for you. (PM me if you like and I'll tell you some good ones.)

By the way, if your gear has low durability and it's stats are dropping and turning red, considering upgrading them instead of flat out repairing them. It makes them stronger and seems to completely repair the item as well. Two birds, one stone.

Its a shame this game is not getting the love it deserves. Now level 9 and still loving it. The RPG mech works just as it would in any dungeon crawler. You realy feel involved, like youre battling with the fish, I've never felt that in a game for a long time. Your energy meter soon recharges - no need to pay anything. Also it increases as you level up. The rewards for beating the challenges are generous which helps top up your gold.
