Well i have to say the game looks really great, at least it does seem to have a style of its own compared to other titles from gameloft. (Excluding the paper monster comparison)
But yeah, the freemium aspect is really bad, up to 80$ for one monster, 3 types of currencies... It's a shame the potential is there for a real, non freemium, pocket monster game but not with that type of buisness model. Steer clear of it : ) |

I expect nothing from Clonesoft than dead ducks.

My nine-year-old got hit with the same game-killing bug this morning.
He was at level 25 and had 8 creatures. He LOVED those creatures. He now hates Gameloft with a red-hot passion. He even deleted Order & Chaos off his iPad. |

With iOS games, indie is really where it's at. Speaking of which actually, my company, LCD Dreams, is going to be announcing a new mobile game soon - probably next week. Nothing related to Monster Life though (besides a lighthearted style), so I won't go into details here. Last edited by Artfoundry; 08-23-2012 at 04:39 PM.. |

We have now hit the same 69% load bug as well, and my son is bummed. Guess I'll be reaching out to Apple for a refund on my IAPs.
