well this game has been free at the japan app store for a few times already, so if you are patience enough, it might be free as well.

No. This is unlikely.
No Kemco game that got translated into English was free before.
Feel free to check all Kemco games on Appshopper. Their RPGs were never free.

I'd take the plunge before it goes up to $6.99.

API issues likely. I've see other sites (including AppShopper) having issues.

Anyways, any early comparisons with other Kemco RPG's?

this is the only kemco game that has been free in the japanese store too.

I just bought it from the Canadian App Store, the US Store wasn't working... It said the app is no longer available.
