App description: "Sage Fusion is a title that easily contends for the role of most intelligent literature on an iDevice that doesnt also happen to be an eBook." - iFanzine (5/5)

"Sage Fusion is one interesting assembly of game types. The list of good things to say about it is rather long, so it's best you just play the game." - Softpedia (4/5)

"There is always something the story tells and one thing leads to another in interesting ways." - Games in Asia ID (5/5)

Set in a futuristic universe in which artificial intelligence is considered religious taboo, Sage Fusion tells the adventure of a businessman and his bodyguard who visit the planet of Capistad, the capital of the galaxy where two major political powers are centered: the liberal government and the fanatical church. What the two men dont know is that theyre about to be caught up in a conflict between these two powers.

Sage Fusion is a hybrid between Role-Playing Game (RPG), adventure game, and visual novel. It is different from most RPGs in that it does away with level progression and equipment customization, instead focusing mainly on storytelling and exploration.

This game is the first in a two-episode series.

Features:
- Story as the most important aspect of the game
- More than 70 hand-drawn backgrounds and story illustrations
- A lot of character interaction and dialogue
- Story-driven RPG gameplay with science fiction setting
- RPG-style turn-based battle system with no random enemy encounters
- Optimized control for touch screen no virtual joystick
- Side quests
- No in-app purchase

* Supported devices: iPhone 4 or newer, iPod touch (4th generation) or newer, iPad 2 or newer.

Hi, you seemed to be lost on the Internets.
This is TouchArcade, where 2$ for a game is too much, 5$ is an outrage, and 10$ or more is putting sugar in their car tanks whilst killing puppies.

I would get it but a video is much needed. Besides I'm saving up for knights of pen and paper. Not a big D&D fan but love kairosoft games and the mixture it has going

Story looks good, but is there like gameplay?, like inbetween the "visual novel" and battles?

Ok I see adventure part, I'ma need to see that, thIs kind of reminds me of a FF game that should have been made like somewhere after ff7

Ok so I guess screenshot 4 is the adveture part? Kinda reminds me of a 2d post snes FF game... Although I'm going off little info...

Add me to the interest piqued group! The story sounds good and the visuals look good as well but I would love some video of gameplay or some word of mouth before I bite. I've already spent my personal limit for the week and while I am in no way bound by it I have to be self disciplined and not just grab it because I can. If I don't stick to my personal weekly purchase limit I run the risk of having weeks like when TWEWY, Bastion and all those games came out on top of my buying Quick Office the same week as well as some other apps, leading to me spending $60+ in apps in one week, and about another $30 the next! It's a trend I don't like to repeat for fear of my life (wife), so I have to check the pulse on this before I make another admittedly frivolous purchase!

BlogArcade, I know! ;-)

uh-oh ... have you already got "THE LOOK" from her?

Wellllll.... either buy HER something nice so she will forget about your iTunes bill immediately or sell a liver or kidney, but don't tell her... or limit yourself with gift cards. Believe me, it works (at least iny case, after I removed my cc from the payment options and only used gift cards since).

Another good point is telling her that you prefer to buy apps instead of spending that money on alcohol, drugs and prostitutes.

And regarding your "admittedly frivolous purchases"... it is as it is:
being horny and having an itch is bad - but the itching of The Buy-Button-Finger is something much worse.
