As someone who is currently working from a spare desk in 22Cans office I am in a unique position to speculate on what might be in the cube. I think the life changing prize might be an entire cube, just for the winner. Imagine that, 64 billion cubelets all to yourself. You heard it here first.

No plans to work on it at the moment though I am sitting a few feet from the guys prototyping the landscape engine. I'm working on updating Topia but they had spare space and I get twice as much done when i'm in a room with other game devs.

I also did a couple of days work on Curiosity back in July before 22Cans was fully staffed, I wrote the shader and the original version of the close up randomised cube displacement.

15 years ago it would have been me working on the Black & White landscape. Jesus, 15 years!!! Where's time flying. It was awesome working on B&W, but not sure I'll want to work again on another game involving a landscape, loads of little people running around, and spells... Once was enough
Anyway, good luck to all the staff at 22cans for Godus, I'm sure it will turn out to be an awesome game.

PS: my guess for what's inside the cube: a big pile of cash (it's probably not, but it's what it should be).

I keep imagining the prize being The Million Box:

...which was a prize on a gameshow from an old Bugs Bunny cartoon - the box contains a million smaller boxes (each of which is later found to contain one dollar. Jump ahead to about 5:15 to see the box in action! )

Depending on the currency in the Game. Some of the iTems in the InGame Store are indeed pretty expensive :-)
