I usually play it on iPad, but I have to say that also on my iphone 4G is running very well.
It's a very amusing pastime.

@Influx-Z: This is restricted info at the moment.

@Ciro Yes, it is optimized, but of course don't expect to see it running in GL ES 2 and full res on iPad 1st gen. GL ES 2 for all the iPad(s) with the exception of iPad1 only. And still the framerate is a little less performant. There is so much of a difference among iPad1 and 2.

I guess the best playing device would be the iPad Mini, but I personally love playing it on the iPad3 at RetinaDisplay. Will see with the 4 !

Pocket edition will be retired for a problem related to game center.
A new version is being submitted soon to Apple.
