iTunes Match/Recovering Lost Songs

I had 180 songs mysteriously disappear from my itunes media folder on my external hard drive. I have 3500 songs all together. I don't want to have to find the CDs for the songs I have lost. Around 160 of them weren't gotten from iTunes

If I sign up for iTunes Match will I be able to re-download the songs? They are still listed in my library and I believe all of the songs are available from iTunes.
