Just downloaded this and I must say it is the best Slender version for iOS I have played. It's not in 1st person which makes it more enjoyable on the platform. I'm interested in hearing other people's impressions.

I'm rather bemused here. What's with all the "Slenders:" "Slender;" "Slenderman;" "Slender: Bones of Children?" I believe I saw a couple more.

Are these games based on some TV series or movie? Are any of them (the game apps) decent enough to check out? From what I've seen thus far, they all kinda look the same to me. And, they don't look very substantive.

Any thoughts?

Slenderman is a monster/myth that was conjured up by the internet, starting in the SomethingAwful forums. It's grown into a substantial mythos, with multiple Alternate Reality Games built up around it (MarbleHornets, everymanHYBRID, etc).

Several of these iOS games have been unofficial ports of the PC game Slender, which is available for free and has an iOS port in the works. A few have been scams, and other ones are just totally different.

No it's not, I have it and think it is pretty good in comparison to the other Slender iOS games currently available.
