Why would you have to be 18+ to join?

hmmm just read the "mechanics" again and it says I need to be a us resident , and then down at the bottom it says you should have a us itunes account. I am over 18 and have a us itunes account but dont live in us so that means i am ineligible.i am not questioning your terms you have a right to apply any condition but just that if i can participate , thanks
