Surprisingly this is a really fun game! Now don't get me wrong, it does start off very very slow. You probably have to be about 10 stages before you even learn how to slide. Almost like it was designed with a super slow learning curve. But once you dig into this game it does get very fun and very challenging. Which is not a bad thing when the controls are amazingly responsive. If you die it's because you screwed up, not because the control screwed up. i don't think this game invents anything new, but what it does it does well and is fairly fun and difficult to put down. Again, you'll need to invest 10 minutes before realizing the game is going to get better. I can see others mistakingly deleting the game based on it's early ease of gaming effort. The inclusion of boss battles and achievements spices things up a bit as well!

So is this just an endless runner? Seems like it has levels, but I'm still not sure.

Woh... a runner with Ronin's controls (is it?), and it looks good.

The description says 25 levels, and an additional Infinite run mode.

This has levels and an endless mode as far as I can remember.

It's a cool game, Ronin is way better imo but Ninja Joe is worth checking out.
