This is the best app for you if you plan to travel around the world. It lists 1000 best places around the world with beautiful HD pictures and detailed description. You can create your own travel map from the app, you can share your map or your favorite places with your friends on Facebook. Even if you don't have plan for traveling, you can still consider it as a travel book. With retina support, all the pictures look great on my new iPad. Highly recommended.

Nice Job
I got this on my new iPad and I must say that the app does look really nice and HD. Sadly, you can't zoom in on any pictures, but this is more of a minor thing.
The app is easy to navigate around, whether you need to find something specific with the search function or some cites in a general area with the map, and the filters help a lot.
It's actually quite surprising how much information it has on vague places that I've never heard of before too, with at least 1 extra picture of each. What's more, asking for more information actually brings up an zoomable map marking the location of the cite. It's kind of fun to just look around this app fantasizing about all of the places you'll never go to too.
One suggestion, though: after downloading all of the information about a place, it'd be nice if its thumbnail also became more high definition. That was the main thing that bothered me while using this app. It really contrasts the otherwise HD feel of it.
Still, great travel app!
