Hello everyone,
Block Ops is a new, voxel based first person shooter game currently in development for iOs. The game will feature a tongue-in-cheek, humorous look at modern gaming (the modern military shooter subgenre in particular) combined with a destructible, block-based world. Here are some screenshots and a gameplay video: ![]() ![]() ![]() YouTube: video |

It only uses the minecrafts art style, nothing else.
It sure has potential though. |

Voxels are cuboid pixels, with one color and varying sizes. Because of how they're designed, they're actually much less graphically draining than polygons and pixels. You could effectively display billions of voxels on screen, and you would hardly notice the performance hit (so long as your GPU isn't run of the mill or integrated). It's a much more innovative graphical design than Minecraft. Assuming each voxel has physics simulation, bullets could tear through individual voxels, allowing you to make your own entrances in walls and such. For a good game to see what voxels can do, check out Voxatron. |

Just as a heads-up to people, this game is made by Rory Harvey. Rory Harvey made Slender-Man, House of Slender, and a bunch of other games that are 100% clones to other games, like a pokemon clone, Mobile Monsters, and around 3 or 4 different minecraft clones. He doesn't make very good games tbh. He posts games and snags a quick dollar, from the willing.

The game looks really nice. I want to see more images and the controls seem similar to slender.
