Take My Machete [by Upper Class Walrus]

The game is coming out 01.10.13!

Hey guys, just thought I'd drop in and let you all know about my upcoming game "Take My Machete"

I'm a one-man studio based in Australia and I've been developing this game in my spare time as a hobby. To come this far is a small achievement for me, so I'm proud to show it for the first time!

It's an arcade styled beat 'em up, single screen. You fight against hordes of Aliens (a bunch of different enemy types), using your trusty MACHETE.

As well as the action provided by your MACHETE, you have a bow & arrow, which is extremely useful against the invaders that rule the skies above.

FEATURES

- Arcade style beat 'em up action
- Story mode
- Multiple stages & bosses
- Endless mode
- Retro-Horror soundtrack
- Collectable pets
- Upgradable "den"
+ More!

Check out the trailer below, and visit the website for more information!

Pretty amazing that this is all your work I hope I can do something similar to what you have done.

Just wondering how long you've work on this game?

Thanks! I'd say around 3-4 months now.

Good job! For 3-4 months in spare time. It's a hard work for you. Do you made it from zero or something you made before?

I've been creating the game using some software called Multimedia Fusion 2. But the coding, art and sound have all been created from scratch.
