Probably one of my favorite TD games.

Really really enjoying this at the moment. Only thing I don't like is that the levels start to lag after about wave/round 65 on iPad 4. Crashed a couple of times because of it too. Would have expected to be able to play more rounds than that. Other than that a cracking addition to the Bloons catalogue.

This game is so amazing and beautiful and it runs great on my third gen iPad. There's just one little problem: iCloud support seems to be broken or bugged.

How many waves are there in Bloons? Just got Bloons 5, and is my first time to experience the Bloons franchise. Are all maps endless? Thanks.

I believe that you have to survive for 50 waves.

Bloons TD 5 is definitely one of the best TD games I've played. Got it just last night for the iPad. Already one of my top 10 iOS GOTY. Guess there's a reason the game's so popular.

All waves are endless, but the number of waves you need to survive to "win" varies by difficulty. (50 on Easy, 65 on Normal, I think it's 85 on Hard.)

My one complaint is that regardless of the map, the waves of balloons always seem to appear in the same order, so once you know this you'll always know what you'll need to be ready for and by what wave number. (It might change on the higher difficulty levels, though - I can't even clear Hard yet even WITH this foreknowledge!)

It's also nice that you can't just spam a couple types of towers and expect to be able to deal with everything that comes at you. "Am I ready to have my defenses broken by a bunch of Ceramics? Yeah, right, I've got mages and super monkeys all over the place. Bring it on!" [GAME OVER] "Um ... whut?"
