Any space ship final fantasy like games?

Looking to play a old school rpg or strategy rpg set in space with ships to fight instead of characters. Similar to any FF or even Front Mission style. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Phantasy Star II has a sci-fi futuristic theme but not combat with space ships. Same with Sage Fusion and Eternal Legacy.
