This isn't the first time, Tales of the World games always do that. Was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the title haha.

Hoping this gets a stateside release.

Yeah, that's true. Unfortunately only the first TOTW game got an English release though, so I wouldn't get your hopes up for this one. We can always cross our fingers though

Anyways, it's quite a fun game so far and I'm really enjoying the battles. I'll post some screens up later.

The first actually didn't get an english release. The first was a GBA title.

Radiant Mythology for the PSP is the only one that made it outside of Japan and sadly RM 2 and 3 didn't x.x

There are like 7 or 8 games in the Tales of the World series.

Honestly, though, since this is the mobile market I have at least higher hopes than I would for a console release. But no, I'm definitely not getting my hopes up.

Sold for ¥800, but it also appears that there are also a ton of IAP ranging from ¥85 to ¥250
