"A world filled of strategies and unique challenges...If you want to get lost in a game that emphasis friendship and hardcore teamwork, I highly recommend Immortalis"
-Vanchai

"I've been through a lot of these card games; LoC, GS, GC, MM, NFL, MLB, RoB, DW, just a few to name. I've ended up quitting most if not all of those, but Immortalis is different, it's much more than individual strength. It brings out a whole different level of teamwork that few other games can."

Immortalis is different from Rage of Bahamut and similar games because of the Battle system. There are five Guild vs Guild battles per day; a Guild with many active members can defeat a Guild with few members but more powerful cards. Just spending the most money does not guarantee victory. I have been playing for only two weeks yet my Guild has been in the top Ten and I have battled against all of the top Ten ranked Guilds. We are an active Guild that communicates a lot outside of the game. We have several female members; as a 53 year old woman myself I suspect that this game may have more than average appeal to females. Game strategy itself (card interactions) and deck building are not as complicated as in for example Dominion or Magic the Gathering, but, the tactical depth of the hour-long Guild vs Guild battles is greater than one would first expect. I doubt many reviewers are able to put in the time to learn this aspect of the game.

New players are randomly assigned to a Guild and if it's a non-playing Guild are not exposed to all of the game functionality. The game also could use a real tutorial. I would suggest playing a day or so without looking for a Guild to get used to the interface and explore the game as a whole. There is an in-game Message Board, but it is rudimentary; go online and look at the Wiki for information.

Guilds are constantly recruiting.

If this information is useful to you please see my post over in bonus codes thanks.

None of that matters. this sin't a collectable card game. Flash-type CCG's DO exist: Tyrant on Kongregate, err, that game which has an ios app in which the currency is Clints, etc.

This is just a shiny screensaver. Nothing matters except time an iaps. No skill. No strategy. Outcomes never vary, etc. It isn't a even game, IMO. This applies to all of these "social" ccg's. Just like MOBAS like mafia wars. There was no game there.
