Any iOS game similar to the board game Age of Discovery (Age of Empires)?

Note that the board game is nothing like the PC game Age of Empires I hear, they just had the name license for awhile.

Played this board game the other day and fell in love with it. No computer or iOS version unfortunately, but I imagine there are similar games out there. I'm just not very familiar with the strategy game scene here.

Long shot I know, but anyone play this board game and can recommend a similar iOS game?
