Hi all,
We are currently recruiting for two programmers with two or more years experience working at an established games studio. These are full-time employment positions located in our studio and unfortunately remote or part-time work is not possible. Our studio is located in Melbourne, Australia's cultural capital, and is filled with about 35 genuinely friendly, down to earth people from all over the world. We aim for a working environment that is enjoyable, supportive, and challenges you to do your best work. Our people work in small, tight project teams, typically for 6-8 months, on iPhone as well as many other platforms. We are looking for people who can make rational decisions, solve problems, take responsibility, but also go out on a limb sometimes and come up with something fresh. If this interests you and you'd like to work on the next Flight Control, Real Racing, or big-name publisher AAA title, come join us, and make a difference! Requirements
This is a new full-time role starting ASAP. Relocation assistance is available to the successful applicant, including visa sponsorship if you have 3+ years experience. Please check firemint.com/jobs for details on how to apply, or go straight to the application form. Firemint does not work with recruitment agencies. If you'd like to join our team, please contact us directly. Alex |

Now if that isn't a superb opportunity for someone in the southern hemisphere I don't know what is. Firemint just oozes quality.

We've hired from overseas before and would do it again for the right candidate. As long as they bring a sponge to mop up all that pesky quality that keeps oozing all over the place ![]() Alex |

![]() If you remember the 8 bit computing days then Firemint has always reminded me of Ultimate (later Rare) and, strangely enough, Melbourne House(Beam Software). Both companies produced few games during the Sinclair Spectrum era but all of them were groundbreaking at the time. Quality above quantity.
