Announcing Avatars for Developers

Hey guys,

In an effort to make the TouchArcade forums an even better place for gamers and developers to hang out and discuss iPhone games, we're making a somewhat radical change to the forums. Developers will be able to set their own avatars to something that signifies their game, or company to make them easier to spot as they participate in threads.

If you're a developer, this is part of the perk of being admitted in to the private developer forum. For more information on what's required, check out this thread.

And of course, thanks to all you guys for making the forums awesome.

Just took a look at one of Little White Bear Studio's posts to see an example - very well executed and unobtrusive.

I like that idea actually. Even if they don't get to choose their own avatar, just giving them their own icon would be a great help.
