more and less. The PC version also doesn't have quick play mode, but the iPad version doesn't have the puzzle levels, like I,Zombie, doesn't have some of the minigames, and doesn't have the Zen Garden.

Yes it's almost the same version as the pc game, the only thing that is missing is the zen garden which was useful for getting money to buy the new plants from crazy Dave.
