Ugh. This is a shocker. They've really dropped the ball on this one.

Don't bother, guys. Classic mode feels really poorly done and the new mode is just uninspired.

So so disappointed Can't believe I used up the rest of my NZ gift card on this but glad I could TOFTT at last on something for you.

I'm fine with the game & watch style interface for the Classic game as long as it controls well. New mode looks appalling though - maybe it gets better further in?

Humm, apart for the music which sounds quite strange, what makes you say that classic mode looks poorly done ?

It doesn't look that bad in that preview video.
Ah well, I'll buy it anyway, even if it's atrocious.

That's a fanboy for you

Dear Taito, Listen to me when I say this!!! I want Jungle Hunt!!!! Jungle Hunt!!! Jungle Hunt!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's all I want!! I pumped a million quarters into it years ago, including the sit-down model, and ended up buying the cabinet version which I had in my first house for 14 years. Bought the xbox version a long time ago, as well! Would love nothing more than to have that in my pocket!! Tell me you're going to release that some time-PLEASE!!!!! PM me if you want! Thanks!

Default Initial impression

Bought it mainly for classic mode, being a big big fan of the original. Zoom only increases the size of the window a tiny bit and there's no portrait mode. Was hopeful of 2-player bluetooth after the 'push start' screen but no joy. On the plus side, it has the original music/sound effects

Edit: So far trying out the new mode, it looks alright using the original characters against a flashy backdrop, but been currently in zone B, it's just a case of tapping the monsters to encapsulate them in a bubble, then tap again to pop and make chains. So far kinda easy and definitely repetitive.
