Redsn0w 0.9.6rc16 for untethered jailbreak of 4.3.3 it's perfectly stable.

Not to be a stick in the mud. But there are a decent amount of members on here that know a lot about jailbreaking.

Also, google.

K?! is my go to guy for this stuff, as his advice has saved me a few times from screwing myself.

Sn0wbreeze also works. Its for windows users and I reccomend it over RedSn0w for sheer simplicities sake.

Jailbreakme.com version 3.0 comes out soon, so that will be the go to program/site for jailbreaking all devices thus far.

Not to mention p0sixninja making the claim that hes discovered a jailbreak method that will allow him to jailbreak the new iPhone 5 to be released this year regardless of software and hardware.

Posixninja makes alot of claims that never end up happening/being true. How can he guarantee a jb for a device that isn't even being produced yet? If anything it'll end up being patched by apple with him bragging about it like that. I disagree I think redsn0w is a much easier method, but to each his own.

Let's try to keep this thread on topic, feel free to ask for help with your jailbroken device.

Thats the claims that everyone is making. He hasn't seen the bootrom, he doesn't know the hardware specs or final iOS5 GM specs...but he obviously knows something we don't. Also he hasn't bragged about anything other than he thinks he can do it. Its not like he has divulged the secrets behind this latest exploit or something.

Angry unjailbreak

okay , this is my situation . I clicked this link my friend posted on fb and it led me to jailbreakme.com , I saw the cydia thingy and without reading. I accidentally clicked free and install , and .. the cydia app loaded. I didn't know what it was until I read the description . I tried to delete it but it appeared as a default app . Can you guide me on this ? how do I uninstall the jailbreak ? My software is 4.4.1but if I restore it , I will have to update it to 4.4.5 . I just backed up my iPhone 4 . will my data and app store apps be lost ? ( I have'nt installed anything from cydia ) If my data will be lost should I restore , any other way to uninstall the jailbreak while keeping the data and apps within the phone itself or a computer ?

it appears that apple released 4.4.4 to block cydia . my firmware is 4.3.1 , so if i update , will cydia be removed and my data remains the same ?

You can DFU restore + update or save your SHSH and restore back to 4.3.1
