Good Games With Career Modes?

I'm leaving tomorrow for vacation, and will be flying for 13 hours. Any good games with good career modes/missions? I would prefer something 2D, and maybe casual, but others are welcome too.

The Dungeon Saga would be pretty good if you don't already have it. Not exactly a career mode but the aim is to progress as far as possible until you die. Definitely something to shoot for at any rate.

Dungeon Saga is the opposite of a "career mode". All of your progress is lost each time you lose a game. Even the stats are for the current game only. I wish it had a career mode.

"progressing as far as possible until you die" is the aim for most games. LOL. :-)

New Star Soccer Mobile is a great soccer game with a fantastic career mode. So far as I've seen it has the deepest career mode of any iOS game.

GTA Chinatown Wars has a crapload of content and free roam if the standard campaign isn't enough for you.

+1 for GTA Chinatown Wars. That is a fantastic game. You get used to the controls pretty quickly and once you do, it's just like a PSP. It rocks.
