What's New In Version 1.1
Issues Fixed:
-The leaderboards now display up to 15 characters
-Rare freeze issue when loading a track or after a race (before replay)
-Overall performance improvements
-Reset career option

New Content:
-2 New Circuits: Expert and Master Circuit
-2 New Cars with unique physics and handling

New Options:
-Acceleration using new Gas Pedal or original Throttle Bar
-Steering Sensitivity Adjustment
-Ability to disable "Crowd Sounds effects"
-Manual selection of leaderboard type: Online, Local or Events

New Leaderboards features:
-New categories: Expert Circuit, Master Circuit, Best Combos
-Special leaderboard for Live events and scheduled competitions
-Local leaderboard option

Others:
-Smaller throttle bar on the iPad
-iPad animated loader indicator
-Memorization of last car, color or track previously selected
-Higher resolution car textures
-Practice mode results screen with Best Combo and Top Speed

Yep. But that's in the iPhone section. If you think this doesn't deserved to be mentioned here in the iPad subforum, then perhaps a mod should delete this thread and hope iPad owners read in the iPhone section when they're in TA.

The Universal games are posted in the iphone section and the add "Universal" on the title.

That is if you see the threads in the first place. Especially if you're a visitor in TA, own an iPad (not an iPhone) and wanna check out the gaming scene.

Do you really wanna expect non-iPhone owners to browse in the iPhone section? Good luck.

Then again, iPad owners are in the minority in TA so I guess they're just in the "unimportant" corner where the Universal apps don't even deserved to be mentioned.

I don't mean to get in the middle of things here, but as a brand new iPad owner (and thus TouchArcade user) I only go to the iPad specific forums, as I do not own an iPhone or iPod Touch. I appreciate the listing of the game in this forum...I would not have seen it otherwise.

I agree very much Justin, as I sold my iPod after getting an iPad.


I have followed the app store since day one - I have owned every generation iPod AND iPod touch.

I now have an iPad. I want ALL iPad games, exclusive AND Universal to be mentioned in the iPad forum.

If some people don't like that, don't read the thread then. It's obviously not placed in the iPad section for you.

The universal games belongs to iPhone AND iPad both (sales figures excluded).
