I felt like something was missing from my recent benevolent urge to splash out on games, and realized it was Vector Tanks. Sorry Peter, but at least I finally bought it!
And I LOVE IT! Real hark back to the days of arcade cabinets and hardcore gameplay! It's really frightful when you see a tank dead ahead, but not sideways... He's actually firing at you and you desperately try to evade, sometimes by a whisker, most likely not! The thrill of one-hit kills was great!
Add another request for deeper base on explosions pls!
And looking forward to any other vector games... Would love a tempest one!!!

Cheers! Oh and pricing is perfect. Don't change pls. Not because I would feel jealous. But because you deserve it for making such a fathfully revival of this classic. Great job!

Default Vector Tanks update coming...

Fixed shooting stars that were broken in 1.0
Added menuing system
Pause / exit current game feature
Game settings for:
- vector glow
- brightness
- filled shapes
- reverse controls
How to play button
About screen
New starting skill level selection
- expert
- medium
- novice
- practice (enemies do not fire at you - scoring is disabled)
Added some low frequency engine sound

The update is live, and I'm really happy about expert mode The new Icon is Sick!

EDIT: I did search and didn't find the other thread at first. It wasn't listed when I searched Vector Tanks

YES!

I will definitely be doing network multiplayer. I actually bought another iPod Touch the other day just for the purpose of developing this feature. My plan is for 1. multiplayer all-out deathmatch, and 2. a 2 player cooperative mode where one player drives the tank and the other player controls the turret and firing. That is going to rock.

So yes - I am working on it. I just want to release 1.2 first that has additional tank types and multiple tanks attacking at the same time. Then leaderboards and multiplayer.

Also in the works - a killer soundtrack (and I do hear those asking for the ability to play their own music, so I am looking into that as well).

Even though I have seen this thread a hundred times or more, for some reason this time, I thought it read Vectorman. Blood almost shot out of my nose, anime style. Seriously, I want Vectorman.
