So.. I'm somewhat in a prog power metal mood lately, any recommendations?

Haha, knew it'd be you the second I saw the title.

I know I recommend them a lot, but check out Between the Buried and Me. They're... incredible, in my opinion at least. My personal favorites are Disease, Injury, Madness (that's one song); Prequel to the Sequel; and White Walls.

Ahhhh. I feel at home here. hahahaha

Not many that you don't already know honestly. And since I am absent of an iPod (at least for another few more days... iPod touch 4th gen GET OVER HEREEE!) I don't have any off the top of my head. Ever heard of Primal Fear? They are really good.

They are more melodeath than anything, but have you heard of Unanimated? They are old school man, and really awesome. Been really into them as of late.

Yeah Primal Fear isn't one of my absolute favourites but they are pretty awesome.

Yeah I don't know how many visitors we will get. Most of the Apple Fanboys around here are little indie kids.

Meh, I like lots of stuff too, not much mainstream though. If it isn't metal, I'm listening to classical, folk or jazz. : D

Btw check out Pagan's Mind, quite good power/heavy stuff.

Edit: off for today. Gotta get at least 7 hours of sleep... Gnight guys. : D

I listen to some mainstream stuff. Or at least what would be considered mainstream enough by me. I don't listen to the radio or anything so I don't really know what they play. But 99.9% of what I listen to I am sure they do not play on the radio lol.

Checking them out now. Listening to their first album. Really good so far.
