It's our pleasure oooooomonkey! Literally! We love creating these gamebooks and it's great to have such lovely feedback which I will pass on to the rest of the GA5 team. Hope you enjoy 1-4 too!

Well I've started book5 3 times now and played for between 30-60mins each time before dying but each time has been totally different. I don't normally read books normally I only play games but this has me hooked, the story/atmosphere is fantastic, I think your Gamebook has opened a whole new genre of gaming to me. I've already recommended it to a friend of mine who also likes RPGs.

Do I have to play the series in order to enjoy them?

Sure the price cut is very tempting...

Statement: Star Wars has 2 characters with strange use of grammar: Yoda and HK-47. I pick HK-47 for it is meaner.

Honestly, I was never terribly good at games. - Finch (PoI S2E16)

K well just bought it. IDK what to expect as I never played the rest. Just curious is it like one huge epic story split up into different gamebooks?

I really have to applaud you guys at Tin Man Games, this gamebook is absolutely fantastic and has provided me with hours of entertainment already! I've only found several endings so far and I hope to eventually find all of them. Great work!

They are all very separate stories although they do all fit on a world timeline. Over time and with more stories, regular readers may spot some continuity of people, places and key events. A good example is a key character in GA4 that is mentioned a couple of times in GA2. I think it's safe to say that character may well make a return in future books too!

Overall though we want each gamebook to have its own personality and be able to be read on its own, irrespective of the other gamebooks.

Hi! I'm Andy and I wrote Catacombs of the Undercity for Tin Man Games, who have done an amazing job of putting the whole app package together. It looks fantastic!

Good to see people downloading and enjoying it because I certainly had a blast writing it! If you've got an questions about the adventure, feedback, (cough!) need for spoilers (cough!), and so on, then by all means fire away!

cheers

Andy

Hi Andy, Nice to see the writer on the forum. GA is quite appreciated here but I dn't think we ever had the chance to speak with the artists, writers or pencilers.

I don't have any feedback on this one yet. Played for about 10 paragraphs, got -8 in fitness and died. Brutal first steps... But the mood was excellent, and the rendering of the sewer atmosphere, netween the artwork and the text was really good.

And now I'm waiting for an ipad 2 to try again. I had a friend this week end at home and he showed me GA2 on his ipad. Now I can't wait to have mine and read all GAs again! Just gotta get 600 euros from somewhere...
